Installing a Giada DN74 Media Player
What's in the box:
- DN74 Media Player
- Power Adapter
- 1.5m HDMI Cable
- Wireless Antenna
- Cat6 Ethernet Cable (If Internet Connection will be wired)
Installation:
- Plug in the Power Adapter to the closest location to TV Screen.
- HDMI Cable will need to be plugged into both the Media Player and the TV Screen. Ensure you are aware of which input you have connected into (HDMI 1, 2 or 3)
- Turn the TV on and change input to the HDMI port the Media Player is connected to.
- If this TV Screen is on the correct Input page, you should see our media player. This should be displaying a "Connect Me to the Internet" Page.
Connection via Ethernet:
- Connect the Ethernet Cable from our Media Player to the closest Data Port. In most cases, this is situated behind the TV Screen.
- Once this has been connected, our media player will pick up the connection automatically and display a two word Passphrase, such as the image below:
- Once you have received this passphrase, please contact our support team who can assist with Dashboard Connection.

Connection via Wi-Fi:
- Connect the Wireless Antenna to the media player. Please refer to the Giada Diagram at the start of this article.
- Connect a USB Keyboard to one of the available USB Slots in the media player
- On the "Connect me to the Internet" page you will be prompted to press the Space Bar. Doing so will bring you to a White Wi-Fi Connection Page.
- Toggle Wi-Fi On.
- Identify your network, enter the password and press Connect.
- Once connected, you will be taken back to the Media Players screen which will be displaying a Two Word Passphrase, such as the image below:
- Once you have received this passphrase, please contact our support team who can assist with Dashboard Connection.

Alternatively if requiring to set a Static IP Address:
To access the Settings Page to action further networking requirements, please follow below steps:
- Windows + Enter will show a Starting Up Page
- Windows + Enter will bring up the Settings Page
- Navigate using keyboard and mouse to Network & Internet Page
- Select Wi-Fi
- If Required, Connect to the Wi-Fi by selecting the correct Network.
- Once Connected, Press the Settings Gear Icon on the far right of the network.
- Press the Pencil Icon up the top right of the screen
- Select Advanced Options
- Select the dropdown box on IP Settings and change from DHCP to Static
- Update Details as required.
- Press Save
- Pressing Windows + Enter will return you to the Enplug Player.
Troubleshooting:
If you are having issues with your media player running content, please check the below prior to reaching out to our support team!
- Repower the device by unplugging the Power Adapter for 30 seconds and then replugging it in.
- Ensure that the TV is turned on and on the correct Input.
- Check all cables are correctly connected into both the TV and Media Player
- Follow the Wi-Fi Connection Steps to ensure that the Wi-Fi is connected correctly.
